Who we are
Square & True is a trading name of Reeve & Co Interiors Ltd, Stonham Road, Mickfield, Stowmarket, Suffolk IP14 5LS, England, registered in England and Wales, number 09593800. We are a British company. Everything you send us is read in England, at the workshop.
We decide what happens to the information described here, which in United Kingdom law makes us the controller of it.
What we collect, and why
When you send an inquiry. Your name, your email address, your telephone number if you give one, where the house is, what you are planning, a rough budget, when you would like to be cooking in it, how you came to hear of us, and whatever you write in your own words. We ask for these because we cannot answer a kitchen inquiry sensibly without them. We use them to reply, to work out whether we are the right people for the job, and if we are, to quote and to build.
When you simply visit. Google Analytics counts page views and tells us which pages are read. It is described in full on our cookies page.
Who else sees it
The nine people at Mickfield, and no-one else at Reeve & Co who does not need to. Our email is hosted by a third party, as everyone’s is, and Google receives the analytics described on the cookies page. That is the whole list.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing, and we do not send unsolicited email. If you write to us, you will hear back from a person.
How long we keep it
If an inquiry does not turn into work, we keep it for two years, because kitchen projects often come back around. If it does turn into work, we keep the file for six years after the end of the contract, which is the period English law expects us to be able to account for. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to what we are doing with it. Write to hello@squareandtruekitchens.com and we will deal with it within a month.
If you are in California or another state with its own privacy law: we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The same request address works.
If we get something wrong and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the United Kingdom’s Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
We are a workshop, not a marketing operation. We want your inquiry so that we can answer it. Nothing here is sold, rented or passed on.
